How FunnyGamingBest works

From an empty account to a settled contest, here is the whole loop: register, draft a roster inside the cap, lock it before the first fixture, watch live scoring, and get paid out when the slate settles.

The matchday loop

Six steps, from an empty account to a settled contest.

01

Create your account

Email, display name and an age confirmation are all that is needed. No card details on the free Starter plan, and every league unlocks immediately.

02

Pick a slate and a format

Choose the league and the day, then decide between head-to-head, 50/50, tournament or a private mini-league. Every contest page shows its cap, roster shape and lock time up front.

03

Build the squad

Fill each position on the tactical board while the panel tracks how much cap you have left and what your average rating is. The builder blocks illegal formations before you can submit.

04

Lock before the first fixture

Edit as often as you like until lock time, normally the scheduled start of the first fixture on the slate. After lock, entries are final except where a slate explicitly allows late swap.

05

Follow live scoring

Points update within about two seconds of the official event feed. The leaderboard re-ranks live, and player cards show what is still to come from your roster.

06

Settle and climb

Once the final fixture is confirmed, standings settle and any prize is credited. Season-long tables carry your points forward to the next matchday.

The tactical squad builder board with player slots and a control panel

Inside the squad builder

The board mirrors the formation rules of the league you are playing. Tap a slot to filter the player pool down to that position, tap a player to place them, and tap a filled slot to free it up again.

  • Cap tracker: remaining salary updates on every change.
  • Average rating: a quick read on the overall strength of the build.
  • Position filters: jump straight to the pool you still need.
  • Validation: the confirm button explains exactly what is still missing.

Five habits of consistent managers

What separates a steady climber from a one-week spike.

Match format to variance

High-floor players win 50/50s. High-ceiling, low-ownership players win tournaments. Mixing the two usually wins neither.

Use correlation deliberately

Stacking a quarterback with a receiver, or a hockey line together, multiplies both upside and downside. Do it on purpose, not by accident.

Respect the last hour

Late injury news is the biggest single edge available to anyone who is still watching at T−60 minutes.

Spend the whole cap

Leaving salary unused is leaving projected points on the table. If the cap will not fit, change the structure rather than downgrading everywhere.

Review your settled slates

The scoring breakdown shows where points actually came from. Two weeks of honest review beats two months of guessing.

Treat projections as a range

A projection is a midpoint, not a promise. The volatility band next to it is the part that tells you how much to trust it.

Start with one free contest

The Starter plan includes one team per league and full access to live scoring, enough to run a complete matchday end to end.
