Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies FunnyGamingBest uses, what each category does, how long it lasts, who can read it, and every way you can accept, refuse or later change your choice.
1 What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. It holds a short value, usually an identifier, that the site can read back on your next request, which is how a website recognises a returning session.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
- First-party cookies are set by funnygamingbest.com.
- Third-party cookies are set by another domain whose content the page loads.
2 Why we use them
Cookies let the platform behave like a continuous experience rather than a series of unrelated page loads. We use them to:
- Keep you signed in as you move between squads, contests and leaderboards.
- Protect forms and requests against cross-site request forgery.
- Remember your league, language, filters and interface preferences.
- Detect abusive automation, credential stuffing and multi-accounting.
- Measure which features managers actually use so we can improve them.
- Understand, with consent, which campaigns bring new managers to the platform.
3 Legal basis and consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering a secure, functioning service; they cannot be switched off because the platform would not work without them.
The other three categories (preference, analytics, marketing) are set only after you give consent through the cookie banner. Refusing them still leaves the core platform fully playable, and you can withdraw consent at any time under section 12.
4 Strictly necessary cookies
These support authentication, security and load distribution.
- Session identifier that links your browser to a signed-in account.
- Anti-CSRF token validating that a form submission came from our own pages.
- Load-balancer affinity keeping a session on one server during play.
- A record of your cookie consent choice so we do not ask on every visit.
- Rate-limiting and bot-detection signals protecting contest integrity.
5 Preference cookies
Preference cookies remember choices you make so the interface stays the way you left it: selected league, position filter in the squad builder, interface language, and whether panels are expanded or collapsed.
Refusing this category does not block access, but settings reset on every visit and you will re-select your league and filters each time.
6 Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies tell us how the platform is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, how long a squad takes to build, where users abandon a flow, and which errors occur most often on which devices.
We configure analytics with IP truncation where available, we do not use it to build advertising profiles, and reports are read at aggregate level rather than as individual browsing histories.
7 Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies measure campaign performance: which referral or advertisement led to a registration, and whether a subscription followed. They may be set by advertising or attribution partners and can be used by those partners to limit how often you see the same promotion.
Marketing cookies are never set before consent, and refusing them has no effect on contests, scoring, prizes or any paid feature you already have.

9 Other storage technologies
- Local storage: keeps a draft squad on your device so an interrupted session is not lost.
- Session storage: holds temporary interface state and is cleared when the tab closes.
- Pixels and web beacons: tiny transparent images in email or pages that record whether a message was opened or a page was reached.
- Software development kits: used inside any mobile build to deliver crash reporting and, with consent, analytics.
These technologies are governed by this policy in the same way as cookies.
10 Third-party cookies
Some pages load resources from other providers, and those providers may set their own cookies which we cannot read:
- Web font and content delivery services serving static assets.
- Payment providers securing checkout and preventing card fraud.
- Analytics and error-monitoring providers, subject to consent.
- Embedded video or social content, where present on a page.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy notice. Where a provider acts as our processor, a contract restricts them to acting on our instructions.
11 Cookie lifetimes
We set the shortest lifetime that still lets a feature work. Necessary session cookies expire when you close the browser or sign out. Preference cookies last three to six months. Analytics identifiers last up to 13 months. Marketing attribution cookies last up to 90 days.
Your consent record itself is kept for 12 months, after which the banner reappears so you can confirm or change your choice.
12 Managing your choices
- Use the cookie banner on your first visit to accept all, reject non-essential, or open settings and choose per category.
- Reopen the same panel at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- Change your decision as often as you like. The newest choice replaces the previous one immediately.
- Withdrawing consent stops further use of that category and clears the cookies it had set.
- Clearing your browser cookies also deletes the consent record, so the banner appears again.
13 Browser and device controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies independently of our banner. Look under Settings → Privacy and security in Chrome, Settings → Privacy & Security in Firefox, Settings → Privacy in Safari, or Settings → Cookies and site permissions in Edge. Mobile devices offer similar controls, plus an advertising identifier you can reset or limit.
Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will prevent sign-in and squad saving from working, since the platform can no longer recognise your session.
14 Do Not Track and global signals
There is still no single industry standard for Do Not Track headers, so we do not rely on them alone. Where your browser sends a recognised opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a refusal of non-essential cookies for that browser.
15 Changes and contact
We update this policy when we add, remove or reconfigure cookies. The version and dates at the top of the page show the current release, and material changes are announced in-product before they take effect.
